Although not the cheapest custom mugs, custom stainless steel mugs are often the best investment for long term promotion. When looking at the basic "per unit" cost, a few things need to be taken into consideration. There is almost always a flat "setup" charge, usually around $40.00 to $50.00 to set up your graphics. If you're planning a large run of thousands of mugs, this is a fairly minor charge per mug, but if you're planning a small run, this can add a considerable amount to the cost. Another major factor to consider is the shipping cost. Unless you happen to have a company that will make custom mugs at a reasonable price locally, you will need to have the mugs shipped. As one would expect, the lighter the mug, the less the shipping cost. Custom stainless steel mugs tend to be thinner than ceramic mugs and are usually hollow, so they weigh less than ceramic mugs (although usually more than plastic mugs). The shipping cost can be significant, so it is important to take this into consideration when deciding which custom mug to buy. The final cost can also depend on the colors used and printing methods. For example, metallic colors usually cost more than standard colors and designs using a single color are less expensive than those with many colors.

The lid of the mug also has an auto seal lock that prevents leakage and ensures safe travelling. This mug has the capacity to keep your beverage hot for up to 5 minutes. The mug is also ideal if you have special liking for cold beverages. It can keep your beverages cold for at least 12 hours. The Contigo mug is 100% BPA free and is available in market in two sizes 16oz and 20oz.
Consider where you will use your mug. Will you be carrying it around at work, or using it in your car? If you will be using your mug at work, you may want to consider purchasing a mug with a nice wide base, so you don't knock it over on your desk. If you're going to drink coffee in your car consider your cup holder. Some cup holders will only accommodate a certain width of travel coffee mug, and some holders will not allow a handle. I know I personally love to have a handle on my travel mug, but some car cup holders won't fit a mug that has a handle placed too low. The solution to this dilemma is to either purchase a mug without a handle, or look for one that has the handle attached at the top, but open on the bottom.
